About This Course

Interior designing deals with making interiors spaces more attractive and smart with structure, color schemes, furnishings, and decorations. An interior designer is someone who plans, researches, coordinates, and manages such enhancement projects. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, and research, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, construction management, and execution of the design.

The course includes techniques, design trends and history, furniture styles and fabrics, color theory and lighting, and materialistic knowledge of interior designing

Requirements

  • Obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent as a minimum educational requirement to enroll in an interior design program.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in art and design fundamentals, including drawing, sketching, and understanding of aesthetics.
  • Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Exhibit creativity, innovation, and a passion for interior design, with the ability to think critically and solve design problems effectively.
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey design concepts, work with clients and stakeholders, and collaborate with team members.
