About This Course

AutoCAD is a computer-aided design software and drafting tool for architecture and interior design. It allows to draw and edit digital 2D and 3D designs more quickly and easily than by hand. The files can also be easily saved and stored in the cloud, so they are accessed anywhere at any time.

The primary objective of this course is to provide a training path to study the essentials of working in AutoCAD using an array of features and tools to a learner whether a novice, expert or a student, by a professional certified instructor.

The objective is to teach the basic commands and tools necessary for professional 2D drawing, design and drafting using AutoCAD, so that the users can use AutoCAD for daily working process, navigate throughout AutoCAD using major navigating tools.

This course is also beneficial for students with no prior knowledge of AutoCAD as well as working professional looking to upgrade his/her skills and learn new and advance topics in AutoCAD

Perceived Benefits:

  •  Autocad 3d is very useful tool for visualizations of objects in three dimensions for client presentations
  • Learn professional 2D drawing, design and drafting using AutoCAD and use AutoCAD for daily working process, navigate throughout AutoCAD using major navigating tools.
  • Learn to create professional working drawing such as floor plans, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, door / finish schedule and enlarged transition details.

Learning Objectives

Mastering the AutoCAD interface and basic drawing tools for creating accurate 2D geometries.
Understanding advanced drafting techniques including annotations, dimensioning, and layer management.
Exploring 3D modeling tools to create and visualize three-dimensional objects and environments.
Learning to customize AutoCAD settings and workflows to suit specific project requirements.
Utilizing collaboration tools such as Xrefs and DWF files for efficient project collaboration.
Developing proficiency in rendering and presenting drawings and models for client presentations.

Requirements

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Windows operating system.
  • Access to a computer or laptop with AutoCAD software installed (student or trial version is acceptable).
  • Prior experience with drafting or design software is helpful but not required.
